Of tonight’s episodes of “Community,” “Parks and Recreation” and “The Office,” “Community” brings easily the funniest half-hour. I give it five stars out of five.
NBC says of “Horror Fiction In Seven Spooky Steps”:
When Britta runs anonymous personality tests on everyone for a psychology class, one of the test results seems to indicate that someone in the group is deeply disturbed. At the group's Halloween pre-party, she enlists Jeff to help draw out the potential sociopath and the two of them lure everyone into telling their favorite horror stories. The results are -- spooky.

* An important thing NBC is leaving out is the “deeply disturbed” individual actually has homicidal tendancies.
* The teaser features Alison Brie in a miniskirt doing the robot dance.
* Gillian Jacobs is fucking hilarious in this episode. I love her reading of “That sounds dangerous!”
* Danny Pudi got to make out with Jacobs for this episode.
* Troy line: “Oh, thank god, an old doctor.”
* Everyone, of course, is “Producers”-level appalled by Pierce’s story, which involves subduing men of color with his penis.
* Britta line: “Ugh! It’s like New York out there!”
* I love the devil’s line while s/he’s waving the chainsaw.
* The best news? The tiresome Senor Chang is in this episode limited to an 11-second cameo.
* How does it end, spoiler-boy? With a hilarious coda to Troy’s horror tale.
Curiously, Ben’s Batman outfit is referenced but unseen in tonight’s costume-heavy installment of “Parks and Recreation.” NBC says of “Meet N Greet”:
Ben is mad when Andy and April decide to throw a Halloween party at their house without asking him. Tom emcees an event for Leslie's campaign but manages to also promote his company. Meanwhile, Ron and Ann give Andy and April an unusual wedding present.

* It turns out Chris Traeger’s romance with Jerry’s daughter spans more than a single episode.
* Though Jean Ralphio does not appear in this episode, it is a key chapter in the Entertainment 720 saga.
* Andy is costumed as Chuck Liddell and spends a lot of the episode wrestling.
* April’s costume is a very skinny sumo wrestler.
* How does it end, spoiler boy? “Solve this mystery, genius.”
The funniest thing about tonight’s “Office” is Kevin. NBC says of “Spooked”:
Erin struggles to make the Halloween party at the office exactly how Andy and Robert California want it. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam argue about whether ghosts are real, and Dwight bonds with Robert's 11-year-old son, Bert.

* Dwight’s costume pays homage to a popular video game.
* Pam is dressed as a kangaroo. Creed is Osama bin Laden.
* Kevin this week learns a disturbing fact about mummies.
