Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
How to describe Walter Hill’s Streets of Fire to someone who hasn’t seen it… now that’s a question. It’s kind of a musical, kind of a gritty crime story, kind of a cult movie… It’s kind of a lot of things, but it is wholly badass.
This was one of Willem Dafoe’s first movies, Rick Moranis is in it, Michael Pare was a Michael Biehn-like ‘80s badass in it before Uwe Boll pulled him into that world of suck and Diane Lane is quite frankly smoking hot here.
This isn’t the best pic to get across all the glorious weirdness of the movie, but it’s the only one I have and I wanted to feature Streets of Fire, so here it is. Walter Hill (middle, with hat) stands with his camera department on the set of Streets of Fire.
Anyway, here’s the pic. Click to embiggen!

If you have a behind the scenes shot you’d like to submit to this column, you can email me at quint@aintitcool.com.
Tomorrow’s pic is pretty hot. Temperature-wise.
