Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. First off, yes... you want to see Drive. It is so good. Carey Mulligan delivers another great performance in the film and does so in an incredibly understated way, turning a character that could have easily fallen into the background into a real flesh and blood human being.
Any news of a new Carey Mulligan performance is a good one and now it looks like she's entering the steamier side of things with her Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn with a movie called I Walk With The Dead. The Press Association reported on this from an awards ceremony in France where Refn mentioned Mulligan would be involved in this "debauched" film that he's been kicking around for a couple of years.
Details are slim, with Refn only mentioning it takes place in Miami and that he wrote it because "I wanted to make a movie with lots of sex in it." Well, Mr. Refn... I want to see your movie with lots of sex in it, so let's get this thing going, yeah?
It'll have to wait until Refn wraps up another film with a different Drive cast member, Only God Forgives with Ryan Gosling.
