From time to time - we get sent commercials shot by filmmakers that I like to pass along, especially when the commercials are so wildly different from that director's established comfort zone. Here - we have Mark Romanek's KIA commercial. If you know Mark's work... ONE HOUR PHOTO and the recent amazing film, NEVER LET ME GO... he has established a reputation for intellectual, deliberately told intelligent, soulful filmmaking that few can parallel. And then you see something like this KIA commercial from Romanek and you realize - holy shit, this guy can do anything, right?
