Raimi is the MAN in SPIDER-MAN

Hey folks, Harry here. Once again... I'm happy as a jaybird to report that the 'official' press, in this case Hollywood Reporter is announcing that Raimi is in... FINAL NEGOTIATIONS to direct SPIDER-MAN. This is nothing really new to us. Within days of the initial 'announcement' by AICN that Raimi was THE MAN from Moriarty... we began hearing about the alleged THE GIFT problems... Our people in Sony quite simply told us... these problems are NOT problems. An offer was made to Paramount, to delay the post-production on THE GIFT... which frankly Paramount was quite happy to accept. There was no real sticking points. Raimi is the man for SPIDER-MAN... Amy Pascal knew it... therefore SONY was going to do... "WHATEVER IT TAKES" to get our man in the pilot's seat on SPIDER-MAN. So folks... as we've been telling you all along... Raimi is in. It's done... What is left is signatures... and Neither Sony or Raimi are going to change their minds. Raimi missed BATMAN once... He wasn't about going to miss the boat this time! And thank God and SONY for that!
