Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
When I was a kid there was a rather serious rumor going around that hoverboards were real and that we’d see them for sale “next Christmas.” This was told to me matter of factly from at least three or four grade school acquaintances and despite me knowing slightly more about movies than most kids my age I still wanted to believe it so badly that I kept hoping to flip through the Toys R Us Holiday catalogues and find one.
Of course I never saw it, but I sure did have that little ball of hope every year. The other rumor amongst the kids of my generation was, of course, for real lightsabers, which some kid always had a friend of his brother or a step-dad that worked in “science” and confirmed that lightsabers are being made. God help us all if we ever get to a point where we can have lightsabers AND hoverboards. There will be a lot of really bizarre/funny/horrible Youtube clips as a result.
So, while I can’t give you guys a hoverboard, I can deliver a sweet looking shot of Griff upside down on his hoverboard from Back to the Future II.
I’m quite fond of this sequel, love how it crosses back over with the first movie and how it never forgets to have a ball of fun at every turn. It’s ridiculous, but kind of badass.
