First off, this cast is impressive - Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Toby Jones, John Hurt, Benedict Cumberbatch (and he looks like a British Dennis Quaid with that hairstyle). It's an adaptation of John LeCarre's most famous Cold War novel. It's Tomas Alfredson's follow-up to the tremendous LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. And I'm hearing in some places that Oldman is amazing as George Smiley, a career-best performance, which for him is saying something.
