After the unholy atrocity to the eyes, ears and mind that was the Joel Silver production of HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, he and Zemeckis are planning to produce (or would that be REproduce) another classic of William Castle's. 13 GHOSTS. Now this doesn't mean that it will suck the eye teeth of a moose out it's anus like HOHH... Perhaps this time out they'll actually exploit audiences in the same spirit and tradition that William Castle did. Stupid gimmicks... ushers to go insane in ape costumes in the theater. Fog machines or floating skeletons. Perhaps vibrating seats? OR... maybe something really innovative like a halfway decent script and a competent director. Here's Lino...

Joel Silver appeared on UK breakfast TV show "The Big Breakfast" this morning to plug the UK release of "House on Haunted Hill" and let slip that himself and Zemekis (Spelling!) were working on a remake of William Castles "Thirteen Ghosts"....
