Piping hot Natalie Dormer (she of the fast approaching Captain America movie), who embodied Anne Boleyn on “The Tudors,” will play Margaery Tyrell on next spring’s second season of “Game of Thrones.”
James Hibberd’s exclusive for Entertainment Weekly describes her character:
a (minor spoiler alert) beautiful and shrewd young woman from the influential House Tyrell. She’s pledged to marry the late King Robert’s brother, Renly Baratheon, as part of House Tyrell’s support for his bid to seize the Iron Throne from King Joffrey.
If Dormer can’t turn Renly straight, then it can’t be done.
