You know what? I like this FOOTLOOSE trailer. Now, Craig Brewer's been a friend of the site for a while now, and so far I think he's made two really good films. This one's obviously a play for box office success, but I like the way that the trailer, while hitting pretty much all the plot points of the original film, updates it for this new generation.
I saw FOOTLOOSE when I was just a teenager, and though the story's pretty simple I thought (and still think) it resonated well, and I think the film's held up through the years. Now Brewer's updated it for a new generation, and well, this movie was never going to win over some people, but for the kids of today, I think they may really like it. Thanks to MTV for the embed:
