Since its premise can't be easily explained - it's not a franchise, cartoon adaptation, or a comic book - Paramount and Bad Robot are really making the push for SUPER 8 now, both online and on television. If this clip hadn't snuck in front of me Sunday night I would have avoided it as well like I'm trying to avoid all the advertising at this point. I'm sure this scene will play longer in the movie, but I do love how it evokes the time and place of the film's setting. It really does feel quite Spielbergian:
