Even with all the new things Pixar showed me of CARS 2, I'm still not entirely convinced, although I do like the first film quite a bit. Most of my concerns involve Mater, who I find pretty jarring to take. But there's no denying kids love him.
This trailer shows more of the scope of the film than the other ones have - it's a big scale movie, with real stakes and lots more characters. I hope people take to Finn McMissile like I did - he may very well be the best thing in this film. CARS 2 opens June 24th.
