THANK GOD... THERE WILL BE NO JERRY MAGUIRE 2...

Well, bless the maker. I just had contact with Cameron Crowe about this silly ass JERRY MAGUIRE 2 rumor thing. Ya see... I confirmed that Fairuza Balk was quoted as she was in CONTENTS magazine... But... There's always a chance that she, misspoke... was confused... was misquoted... etc. But thankfully this is what Cameron had to say about it...

harry --

as a faithful follower of aint it cool, i feel compelled to tell you that... all those blazing scenarios aside (especially the revenge of bob sugar)... there is zero truth to "jerry maguire 2". hope you like the new movie though. happy new year, and my best to moriarty too.

ps -- now let's talk about something truly important. does lynn bracken really exist?

So there ya have it. Lynn Bracken's existence is more important than a JERRY MAGUIRE 2 in Cameron Crowe's head, folks, so rest assured... it ain't happening. As for the question about Lynn Bracken... That answer was just between me... Cameron... and Lynn. But I'll say this... I've had many a sleepless night, imagining her popping out of a swimming pool ala Phoebe Cates (who while I worship... can't hold a candle to AICN's Lynn Bracken!

WARNING! While the below was mentioned in CONTENTS magazine... it is... Thankfully... UNTRUE!

In an interview recently, Fairuza Balk has mentioned being in a 'hush hush' sequel to Jerry Maguire that apparently Cameron Crowe is allegedly quitely developing. Hmmmm... In this one, would Jerry miraculously lose himself in the amazing success of Cuban Gooding's character... lining up super-clients left and right. Or... would Renee suddenly become unsatisfied with Jerry's flacidness and leave him a broken bitter man, who then goes out into the world to teach men how to get women to "RESPECT THE COCK and TAME THE CUNT!" Or... perhaps Jerry and his lovely lady decide to buy a farm... where they live happily ever after? Sigh... Ya know... I love Cameron Crowe's work... but... do we need to see the further adventures of the conscientious self-loathing yuppie? Well... We'll see if this goes any further than... RUMORED PROJECTS... Remember... a long time ago, Spielberg wanted to do a sequel to E.T.
