Hey folks, Harry here, with a new spy with a new mag from across the sea with a bunch of tidbits... Go through... see if there's anything interesting. I thought some of it was fun, but nothing I'd light up the sky for. But it spans the whole action gamut thing... so here ya go....
Hey Harry,
Let me first congratulate you on a first class site, so keep it up! I've collected most of this info from Impact: Movie Mag. I'm sending this from across the great big pond and it may or may not be of use to you, but;
*John Woo has got Tom Cruise in M:I-2 participating in action sequences wait for it ............
A FLOCK OF WHITE PIGEONS !!!!!!!
Also........
*Warner Bros. 'ART OF WAR' starring Wesley 'I think I'm Bruce Lee' Snipes, they have Christian Duguay () slated to direct. And co-starring maybe Michael Biehn and Donald Sutherland (hoooooorrraaaayyyy!!!!).
*While on Snipes work title for BLADE sequel is BLADE II: BLOODHUNT.
Plus......
*Rumour has it Big Willy wants to get Jiggy with a big screen remake of the cult 60's show I-SPY with Willy in Bill Cosby's shoes.
HARRY NOTE: Ya know... I could just see him and Kevin Kline in these roles... sigh...
Also happening......
*Jackie Chan has dumped action flick 'GIANT'
And........
*Arnold may want to bring 'DOC. SAVAGE: MAN OF BRONZE' to the big screen but long term fans of the Doc. are calling for the Big Swede Ivan Drago.... I mean Dolph Lundgren. (What ever happened to him???)
HARRY NOTE: And... Um... Are these fans on crack?
Meanwhile......
*New Line want to do a remake of Ringo Lam's BRILLIANT!!!!! 'FULL CONTACT' with the Fugee's Pras in Chow Yun Fat's role !!!!!!!
HARRY NOTE: Ummm... Why? Leave brilliance well enough alone!
*Eastern action star Donnie Yen is gonna' be in Lambert's 'HIGHLANDER 4' Yen will also choreograph the fight sequences should be good coz' he was in some fab fight in 'ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA 2'
*The bad guy from 'PASSENGER 57' is doing the villian duties in 'HIGHLANDER 4' now called, 'HIGHLANDER ENDGAME' (I personally liked 'WORLD WITHOUT END').
Finally, to end the day..........
*Renny Harlin is gonna direct Sly's new flick 'INTO THIN AIR'
HARRY NOTE: You celebrating yet A.B.?
*Also he may or may not direct 'ABOMINABLE' this ones meant to be Jean Claude Van-Damme big comeback make him action king again. The story is actually quite good lets hope for a decent script and we won't have to watch Wesley Snipes try and act like his some kind of a Martial Arts god.
HARRY NOTE: Finally an actor worthy of Harlin's brilliance!
*Oh and one final thing look for The Shannon MA website its got this really cool C.G.I Bruce Lee working out, and towards the end he gets out his Nunchaku and practises. It wicked!!!!!!
HARRY NOTE: What the hell is "The Shannon MA website"? I want to see this thing!
Ta,
Mr. Farishta
