Don’t Scroll Down If Your Co-Workers Hate Naked!!
Apparently Marisa Tomei and HBO couldn’t agree on a deal, so the channel has moved on to negotiating with another nakedness-friendly movie actress, Emily Mortimer, for the role of a cable news show’s executive producer in Aaron Sorkin’s pilot for HBO.
If a deal is struck, Mortimer (“Lovely and Amazing,” “Match Point,” “Lars and the Real Girl,” “Shutter Island”) will join Jeff Daniels and likely Olivia Munn and Alison Pill in the cast of the project, tentatively and awkwardly titled “More As The Story Develops.”
Like Sorkin’s earlier series “Sports Night” and “Studio 60,” the series follows a group of co-workers charged with creating live television. Sorkin’s other writing credits include “A Few Good Men,” “The American President,” “The West Wing,” “Charlie Wilson’s War” and “The Social Network.”
