Okay, I was probably too harsh on the clip that came out this week. Absolutely we need more humor in our superhero films. To paraphrase Spinal Tap, there's a fine line between funny and silly, and without any context it's difficult to see how that scene fits in the larger story.
I will say this, though - I really dig the look of Asgard. Part weird 1980s rock video, part comic book, Asgard looks amazing. And so do these Loki and Thor character posters, released today at WonderCon. Though part of me can hear Elmer Fudd singing, "With my spear and magic helmet!":
