James Wan's INSIDIOUS is a film I missed while I was at SXSW, and I regret it. Word has it that it was quite an effective horror film, with a great cast (Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Barbara Hershey) and a nice twist on the haunted house genre. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
And if you're lucky, you'll be able to see it early and for free, if you live in the Houston area! I have 25 winners with a guest available for Wednesday, March 30th (total of 50 seats). I can accept a name and a +1 if you want to attend. Shoot an email to aicnhoustonscreenings@gmail.com with WHY SO INSIDIOUS? in the title (all other email titles will be rejected), and put the name and the name of the person you wish to attend with you. Emails with more than 2 names will be rejected. Do not put +1 in your email, I will need the name of the person that you wish to attend with - otherwise it will be rejected. I only have 50 seats, so this will fill up quickly.
This is first come, first served and it will be packed, as this is not an exclusive AICN screening. If your name is chosen, that is not a guarantee of admittance if you do not arrive early. If your name is picked and you do not arrive in time, you will not be seated, so you need to arrive early to make sure you get a seat. Don't email me personally - any contest emails sent to me personally will be deleted without being read. Once winners are chosen, I'll post an article with the list of names for the screening and the location. Good luck!
