Jet Li vs Wesley Snipes' A project called ECKS VS SEVER'

Hey folks, one of my spies at Jon Peters' office filled me in that the bloke is still vainly attempting to make a SANDMAN movie. And my source at Jon's wacky world filled me in on one of the latest in a LONG LONG LINE of folks to PASS on the project. (Why would someone pass? Because making the film with Peters would be tantamount to moral suicide!) The spy wants to be known as the Hair Sweeper, so... here he is...

Harry,

I have been reading your site ever since you started taking potshots at my boss over SUPERMAN LIVES and I have been a fan ever since. Recently here at the Barber Shop, I bumped into a young hotshot director type that I had never heard of named something Kaos or Kaos something. He was in here to be offered SANDMAN. When is Mr Clipper going to get it in that helium filled skull that it is not a SUPERHERO movie? Anyway Harry, this kid. I call him a kid cause he is only like 27 or something. Anyway, he is a rather nice fellow. A bit too bright to work for my boss, so I liked him right off. It turns out he is set to direct some film called ECKS VS. SEVER, don't scream at me if I spelled that all wrong. He told me it was written by that SPAWN screenwriter (HARRY NOTE: That would be Alan McElroy) and concerns a NSA operative, that may be played by Wesley Snipes, and a FBI agent, that may be played by Jet Li. I say may because Kaos told me that they should have deals in place before Christmas, and that Warners wants the film for Fall 2000. I don't really know where this would place BLADE 2, but frankly watching Jet Li kick Wesley Snipes' ass tickles me something fierce. THis will be another one of those productions that gets shot up in Canada sometime in March it looks like. I just figured that I would keep you up to date on another seemingly talented character that escaped the clutches of Jon Peters. Hopefully, I will have more stories from the barber shop to keep you awake at night.
