Take a fresh breath.... SPIDER-MAN is not headed down the tubes!

Hey folks, Harry here.

You can all take a breather. It seems that Sonnenfeld is NOT attached to SPIDER-MAN at all. O'Donnell is NOT Spider-Man nor Peter Parker. There are talks going on... things are moving... BUT... Not with either of them.

I was told, "Haaaarrrrryyyyy, that's complete and utter BULLSHIT! If I'm lying to you then you can name me and call me on it. But this is not true!"

Alright... As for these rumors... Well, I over-reacted. Why? Because I have been being BOMBARDED with confirmations of the rumors I posted. But it could have well been a self-feeding deal, where one person reads it... then makes a dozen phone calls, then on the 16th person hearing it... calls me up to say that... well... you get the idea. I had called a couple of people at Sony that had told me that the project was extremely tight-lipped and that even within the company... word was not going around.

Does this mean the project is sitting pretty? Well... at the moment we can say it is in a complete neutral state. Nothing positive and nothing negative. However, you should be aware that Sony is now fully aware that you folks do not want O'Donnell, Sonnenfeld and Arnold involved.

Lastly... I want to apologize to all of you for letting this one grow past the 'whisper' stage. I was wrong... and the folks that contributed to the rumor have now been flagged for it in the ol book of spies. Go ahead slap me around and call me stupid... I don't care... All I know is the Gods are smiling... Sonnenfeld is not attached... O'Donnell is not attached... I asked who they were talking to and their lips pursed shut. Apparently the storm clouds have passed. I'm gonna go lay in grass in the backyard and look at the stars... I'm happy tonight. I am still going to be poking around quite a bit on this one... and come January I might have quite a lot to tell ya about this one.
