Halfway Decent Marvel Comics/Movie News: Re: THE INCREDIBLE HULK...

Hey folks... Harry here. I've been so wrapped up in this whole SPIDER-MAN... X-MEN thing that I've been ignoring my emails on the HULK movie that I've been getting. So... I've spent a bit today trying to check up on this, but nobody seems to be talking... So... I want you to take the following as RUMOR... Fenceline neighborhood gossip. I'm working on getting this confirmed, but I have been hearing this from multiple sources... just none of my 'old reliable' ones.

It seems that the folks involved in the HULK film at Universal have come up with a very... off the wall sort of bit of casting for Bruce Banner... and... I have to say that I am kind of curious. The name I'm hearing is Rick Moranis. WHOA! Yeah... I know what that name immediately conjurs up... I know that personally I would prefer Steve Buscemi about 10000 to 1, but... If it's played straight... if Moranis isn't playing it for schtick's sake... If he takes it a bit seriously... There might be a... Well. I don't know... maybe it's just that this sounds better than Arnold as Doc Ock and Chris as Parker. Like I said, I would be very interested in this if they had Buscemi on board as Banner.... Well, what do you folks think?
