Entertainment chief Kevin Reilly at the Fox TCA event on Tuesday announced the cancellation of two shows, the renewal of another, and premiere dates for two others.
* “The Good Guys,” the first broadcast series created by “Burn Notice” mastermind Matt Nix, won’t be back.
* Also gone for good is “Running Wilde,” the third Fox sitcom created by writer-producer Mitch Hurwitz (“Arrested Development,” “Sit Down Shut Up”).
* The untitled hourlong sketch show from Jamie Foxx – once thought to be a late-Saturday replacement for “Mad TV” – is now a primetime show that will preview 9 p.m. (right after “American Idol”) on March 31 before taking over Thursday at 9 p.m. (the old “Fringe” slot) starting June 9.
* “Terra Nova,” the time-travel dinosaur adventure from Steven Spielberg and Brannon Braga (“Threshold,” “FlashForward”), will air its first two episodes at 9 p.m. May 23 and 24 (that’s a Monday and Tuesday) before joining the Fox schedule as a proper series the following fall.
* Finally, post-“Glee” sitcom “Raising Hope” was renewed for a second season.

Actor-Comedian Affion Crockett Stars and Serves as Producer
The UNTITLED JAMIE FOXX/AFFION CROCKETT PROJECT (working title), a fast-paced, half-hour sketch-comedy series executive-produced by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx and starring rising comedic talent Affion Crockett ("The Boondocks," "Dance Flick"), will air a sneak preview Thursday, March 31 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) following AMERICAN IDOL on FOX. The series will then premiere in its regular time period Thursday, June 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).
In the vein of FOX's groundbreaking and network-defining "In Living Color," the UNTITLED JAMIE FOXX/AFFION CROCKETT PROJECT (working title) will offer a fresh take on pop culture, including spoofs of movie trailers, commercials, TV shows, music videos and celebrities, with a diverse cast made up of the very best new young comedians on the scene today. Additionally, some of the biggest names in Hollywood will be stopping by for a visit. Crockett, whose incisive web shorts have drawn a cult following, will also serve as a producer and writer.
The UNTITLED JAMIE FOXX/AFFION CROCKETT PROJECT (working title) is a production of Fox Television Studios, Foxx/King Entertainment and Tantamount Studios. The series is executive-produced by Foxx, Todd Yasui ("The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"), Marcus King ("Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," "The Jamie Foxx Show"), Jaime Rucker King ("Ray," "From G's to Gents"), Eric Tannenbaum ("Two and a Half Men"), Kim Tannenbaum ("Two and a Half Men") and Mitch Hurwitz ("Arrested Development"). Series Premiere Scheduled For Fall 2011
New family adventure-drama series TERRA NOVA will preview during a special two-night event Monday, May 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Tuesday, May 24 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The show will then premiere in the fall.
An epic family adventure 85 million years in the making, TERRA NOVA follows an ordinary family embarking on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149 the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped, overcrowded and overpolluted. With no known way to reverse the damage to the planet, scientists discover a portal to prehistoric Earth. This doorway leads to an amazing world, one that allows for a last-ditch effort to save the human race...a second chance to rebuild civilization and get it right this time.
The series centers on the Shannon family as they join the Tenth Pilgrimage of settlers to TERRA NOVA, the first colony established in this beautiful yet forbidding land led by its founder COMMANDER NATHANIEL TAYLOR (Stephen Lang, "Avatar"). JIM SHANNON (Jason O'Mara, "Life on Mars"), a devoted father with a checkered past, guides his family - wife ELISABETH (Shelley Conn, "Mistresses"); and children JOSH (Landon Liboiron, "Degrassi: The Next Generation"), MADDY (Naomi Scott, "Life Bites") and ZOE (newcomer Alana Mansour) - through this new land of limitless beauty, mystery and terror. FOX "RAISING HOPE" FOR SECOND SEASON
FOX has ordered a second season of the critically acclaimed comedy RAISING HOPE, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.
"RAISING HOPE has emerged as a comedic standout: wickedly smart, hilarious and full of heart," said Reilly. "Greg Garcia and his great cast have established an appointment show on Tuesday nights this season, and we're confident it's just the beginning of great things to come."
"I'm happy that the show is getting another year," said Garcia. "But the fact that I've been trying to think of a funny quote for the last two hours and this is the best I could come up with makes me a little nervous about Season Two."
Season One of RAISING HOPE continues with all-new episodes Tuesday, Feb. 8 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Created by Emmy Award winner Greg Garcia, RAISING HOPE follows the Chance family as they find themselves adding an unexpected new member to their household. The series stars Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt and Shannon Woodward. Cloris Leachman guest-stars as MAW MAW.
RAISING HOPE is produced by Amigos de Garcia Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Garcia serves as executive producer on the series.
