More on Fincher and SPIDER-MAN

Well... dammit... I know we've been over this about a billion times, but well... Today I've been getting word that SPIDER-MAN was offered to David Fincher formally by SONY yesterday. Now, we have reported that Fincher was overheard as saying it 'basically' wasn't his bag right now, but... Perhaps just maybe SONY will $imply make him an offer he can't refuse (hope-a-hope-a-hope-a!!!)

From the word I've heard the film would still need significant rewrites before shooting would begin... BUT... Well who knows. Perhaps I should just shut the hell up till it lands at a director, but my Spidey-Sense makes me want to continue to say, "Barry Sonnenfeld is WRONG for this Film!" as is Chris O'Donnell... at least in this true believer's thoughts. Just continue projecting positive mental vibes towards this project folks.... It'll be Ooooooo Kkkkkkkkkk, SONY isn't a company filled with the sort of morons that would bring Sonnenfeld on board with Chris O'Donnell... Ooooohhhh Noooooo, they are far far faaaaaar smarter than that. They'll make a GREAT film. Yes they will. Because they know that a legion of No-Prize winners will storm Culver City to make it so. Heh... Keep the faith folks...
