Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
John Carpenter’s The Thing is one of my favorite movies, which is why you’ve seen a lot of it in this column. And you’ll see much more if it before I’m done, as long as the pics keep flowing.
In the past I’ve featured Rob Bottin’s incredible work and Randy Cook working away on the miniature at the end… in short, the effects side of the movie. Today I have a lighter moment, one that evokes a favorite talkback meme. Kurt Russell is indeed laughing, so it’s okay to enjoy this photo.
