Hey folks, Harry here... Still haven't tasted any turkey today... slobber slobber, drool drool, but Father Geek is toiling away at the fowl meal. Soon I have to pick up Sister Satan and take her to see TOY STORY 2 and SLEEPY HOLLOW so she can be a real cool sister this Thanksgiving Day. Meanwhile, it seems this is the project that has Fincher's eye instead of SPIDER-MAN...
Just a little tidbit on David Fincher's next project taken from the British paper, The Guardian, who ran an interview with him.
Following on from his truly stunning 'Fight Club' Fincher is seemingly working on an adaption of James Ellroy's 'The Black Dahlia' but is struggling to trim the weighty book down, "I can't get a script that's under 300 pages" says the man himself.
The book is typical Fincher fare, concerning Hollywood's most notorious murder case: A beautiful young woman's body is found tortured, drained of blood and cut in half. The newspapers call her 'the black Dahlia'. Two cops are caught up in the investigation and embark on a hellish journey that takes them to the core of the dead girls twisted life...
What Fincher, with his acute eye for human wretchedness, will make of this is enough to get the nerves jangling already! Hope this is useful for you,
Call me the Raging Rider.
