I am – Hercules!!
NBC is billing tonight’s installment of “The Event” as its autumn finale, suggesting big stuff happens to keep us guessing until the show’s two-hour return three months from now.
In recent episodes we learned the little sister was stuck in a room with other sickly youngsters and Hal Holbrook can make his wrinkles disappear. Also, Simon now seems to have human blood and Sophia encouraged someone to bullet her leg.
NBC says of tonight’s episode, titled “Everything Will Change”:
President Martinez confronts the traitor in his administration, only to be met with threats of exposing the cover-up of Avias Air 514. Even after testing the loyalty of Isabel and Thomas, Sophia still suspects their subterfuge, so she sends Simon on a fact-finding mission. Her suspicions are confirmed when Thomas unveils a shocking new plan. Meanwhile, on the hunt for Samantha, Sean and Leila battle the mercenaries sent by Dempsey.
This is the 10th episode. NBC has ordered 22 for its first season. Though “The Event” has fallen to “Chuck’s” level, it’s still doing a lot better than “Chase” and “The Apprentice”:
