When we last saw Nancy, she unexpectedly found herself staring at son Shane murdering Pilar Zuazo with a mallet. Also? Murderous druglord-husband Esteban, who has found his way to Dearborn.
Showtime says of tonight’s installment, titled “Theoretical Love is Not Dead”:
In the season 6 finale, Nancy must free herself from the grip of Esteban in order to escape the country along with her family. At the airport, Andy attempts to calm the nerves of Shane and Warren. Meanwhile, Silas must decide whether to stay with Lars or leave with the Botwins.
Tonight’s final season-six episode of “Weeds,” scripted by series mastermind Jenji Kohan (who has a Hitchcockian cameo this week), is one of the series’ best.
It’s scary and gets laughs out of that scary, something this series has done and done well in the past.
Doug haters will be excited to learn this episode is Wilson-free. It’s also presumably the last for Richard Dreyfus.
Silas, who now knows he’s not related to Andy, begins the episode with a funny and moving goodbye scene.
If you decided to skip one episode of “Weeds” this year, it shouldn’t be tonight’s.
