As a follow-up to Thursday's Berkeley Breathed interview, AICN is holding a contest to give away three signed copies of "Bloom County: The Complete Library" Vol. 3. THE CONTEST: Make up a track name you might find on the "Billy and the Boingers" greatest-hits record. BACKGROUND: "Bloom County" fans will recall that Billy and the Boingers (formerly Deathtöngue) was a heavy-metal outfit managed by Steve Dallas, featuring Bill the Cat on vocals and lead tongue, Opus the penguin on rhythm tuba, and Hodge-Podge on drums. You can learn much, much more at the band's Wikipedia entry. It tells us that in the "Bloom County" official canon, Billy and the Boingers recorded songs that included "Demon Drooler of the Sewer," "Leper Lover," "Let's Run Over Lionel Ritchie with a Tank," "Hari Kari for Barry," "Pimples from Hell," "U-Stink-But-I-♥-U," "Guillotine Grandpa," "Clearasil Messiah," "Hell's Bells," "Love Rhino," "Skateboarding to Satan" and "Guillotine Your Parents."
