Merrick here...
The Green Lantern's battery (from the upcoming film) was revealed at the Scream Awards over the weekend. The awards will air on Spike TV tomorrow night (October 19 - details HERE).
For those unfamiliar with GREEN LANTERN mythos, this device...essentially...is the "lantern"/battery that stores energy our hero can use to do superhero things. It's an essential and iconic component of his costume and functionality, and this our first sense of what it'll look like in Martin Campbell's forthcoming big screen adaptation.
