Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little Monday morning love in the form of the trailer for PAUL, starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, a CGI alien voiced by Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman and Sigourney Weaver.
Listen, I'm in for anything starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Those two are a dynamic duo of funny and I'm a big fan of what Greg Mottola has given us so far.
I think the trailer doesn't have a voice. Or it has too many voices, pulling it in different directions. It kinda sets up the story, but doesn't really make the flick stand out at all. I have faith in the overall movie working, but I think the marketing peoples dropped the ball with the teaser.
