PREQUEL BITS

Ok folks, you wanted more, you think you can handle it? I do. If you do then read on, there are some spoilers here and if you are sensitive then you may want to run to another page. There are some pics, so I'll put them both right below here at the near top of the page, but there are only two, and if you don't want to read any spoilers, then don't progress beneath that second picture. The first one is a full color shot of the R2 in the ship and the second is of a different angle, that shows that R2 enters the ship from underneath some how. Enjoy, but be warned BENEATH THE PICS ARE SPOILERS!!!!! Oh and who knows if the news news is news, I would treat all Star Wars Prequel News as rumour till they are released, though the pics are for sure for real!!!

"Thanks for the feedback! I knew the fans would love it. Obviously it's not a fake, as many of the forum members have stated. I'd like to answer their queries, and if you would like to post my answers in the main Cool News page, along with the enhanced pictures attached, then that's up to you!"

"Many have stated that there's no room for R2's legs. Well, as the second piccie shows, R2 enters the ship from below and is pulled upwards, automatically, legs 'n' all! It is true, however, that it is VERY tight for his 'shoulders' in there - if not impossible to fit at all. I understand ILM may be working on this problem and widening the hole."

"The reason I grey-scaled the picture originally was because I did not want to spoil the surprise of their unusual colour! I also edited out the other ships you now see behind, because it shows their design a little too well! BUT - since producing the images, the OFFICIAL Star Wars site has posted their own versions which give away the colour and design of the ships anyway! So now there's no surprise to spoil, hence the full colour, unedited picture you see."

"These are NOT seaspeeders!! Don't be silly. These ships sit in the Palace Hanger on Coruscant. They are part of the Naboo military. Does Coruscant have a sea flooding into the palace? Nope. Anyway, the storyboards clearly show these ships flying in a blue, cloudy sky! Note: no stars or blackness - yes, a real sky!"

"As for Anakin's Pod, this is not a crate of container left in a rubbish skip. Three pods were created out of fibre-glass. Two were finished, one thrown away. The one you see is the discarded frame of the craft. The other two are painted silver! And all those who put the BBC craft on their sites, floating underwater - it's time to DELETE those pictures! These pods travel on sand man!!"

"As for Tarkin, I'm not aware that he's in this film. Palpatine is, however. I am unaware the actor playing him."

"Darth Maul is played by Ray Park."

"Terance Stamp plays a heavily made-up (i.e. make up!) alien in the swamp sequence. The swamp itself is outside a hanger, in broad daylight, and made of pot-plants, logs and mud in front of a H U G E blue-screen. It's only being filmed at dawn, to give a dark, eerie atmosphere! And I don't think it's Dagobah. The 'green' part of the sequence (i.e. with trees and grass) was filmed in Whippendell."

"As for the underwater sequence, it features the Gungans. The Gungans are mostly robots, which look like white Terminators with a mouse shaped head! They're pretty evil looking!! They have crafts called Gunga Submarines, which are heart-shaped (looking from above), seat 3 in the cockpit, and have propellars like ornately decorated egg-whisks! Unfortunately I have no pictures to show you, but what I've seen is REALLY cool. Plus, all the Gunga craft and sets look like something out of Alien. They're very 'organic' looking."

"The underwater sequences are being done in CGI."

"Yes - the pod race is like Ben Hur. It's just a bit of fun, and takes place in Mos Espa. This is another spaceport similar to Mos Eisley. Here we meet 'Watto', a character who owns a shop and has a private 'box' on Mos Espa in the 'arena'!! I believe the pod race takes place in the Mos Espa arena."

"Samuel L Jackson just has a couple of lines and is a very small part. There are a few extra Jedi - about 7 - in the whole film."
