Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I love Peter Weir. His flicks are like cinematic treats to me, from Gallipoli to Witness to The Mosquito Coast to Master & Commander... love his stuff. It's amazing to me that we have new Scorsese, new Malick and new Weir films all on the horizon.
The trailer for Weir's THE WAY BACK hit today and it looks great. What a gather of actors, from the new breed like Saoirse Ronan to vets like Ed Harris and those in-between (looking at you Colin Farrell) this is a helluva cast on what looks to be a remarkable trek.
