I have had multiple reports confirming Michael Keaton, since I originally reported back some time ago. Perhaps this project is finally seeing the light of day. And it looks like a young Anakin Skywalker is planning on participating too..
Hot Carl here again with an overdue update on FROST (aka Jack Frost, Frosty the Snowman). Last time I promised a star and I'm proud to tell you that Warner Bros. is in final negotiations with Michael Keaton to play the lead character on Jack. The child being looked at for the lead role of Jack's child is the adorable and talented kid who is cast in the Star Wars Prequel--Jake Lloyd. This project has been greenlit and is in pre-production now. Mark Canton, former Chairman of Columbia-TriStar and now the hottest producer at Warner Brothers has pumped some much needed energy into the project. Probable other casting decisions coming soon...Most likely Renee Zelweger or Kelly Preston as the female lead and the supercool Vincent D'Onofrio in a strong supporting role. The cast is cool and quirky just like the fresh & really funny director Troy Miller whose ability to mesh with the talent is clearly an asset.
This is going to be the coolest Christmas film in recent years. The studio has gone from cool to excited ever since Canton got on board. Expect a Christmas 1998 release.
