Hey folks, Harry here. Sometimes quotes get taken out of context, rumors get spread awfully fast nowadays... But when we got word that Jodie Foster was not going to reprise her role as Clarice Starling in HANNIBAL... I decided to wait a few days... and see if the story changed, because... knowing that Mamet's script is NOT the one going forward. Knowing that the script is being rewritten, I believe from page one, there would be no way Jodie would definitively say "NO WAY" until she saw the final draft. And.... Ta daaa.... 'what a difference a daaaay maaakes... just a short 24 hooooouuuuurrrrssss'.... Here's Dr Chilton with the latest...
It was just reported this morning KABC Los Angeles, that she hasn't completely dismissed the idea of doing a sequel. She is waiting on a final script. Considering that Mamets script was turned down outright by Universal(?) and is now being penned by another screenwriter, she may have a long wait.
