Per THIS article in Hollywood Reporter, Josh Holloway...Sawyer from LOST ...the only actor I can imagine truly being able to take over Kurt Russell's Snake Plissken role in that ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK remake we keep hearing about...will be joining Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg on the Impossible Missions Force in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE IV. Vladimir Mashkov and Paula Patton will also star in the J.J. Abrams produced, Brad Bird directed film, for which locations are now being scouted (a return to Prague?). The picture's angling for a Christmasish release next year.
