The good news: NBC just ordered to pilot that project about a pair of retired black ops operatives, the one that will reunite “Lost” creator J.J. Abrams with “Lost” stars Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn.
The bad news: the project will be overseen by writer-producers Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, who helped make unwatchable the later seasons of “Alias” before they went on to stink up ABC’s airwaves with the horrible “October Road,” “Life On Mars” and “Happy Town.”
Abrams clearly sees something in Appelbaum and Nemec that a lot of us don’t; , the pair were also hired to script Abrams’ next “Mission: Impossible” movie before director Brad Bird came aboard.
