I thought The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day smelled bad… on the outside!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes pic!
If I’m not mistaken this is the first time the BtSPotD has featured the remarkable Phil Tippet, the closest my generation got to Ray Harryhausen. Except for Ray Harryhausen himself, of course. Eighties kids can still claim him thanks to Clash of the Titans.
Typically Tippet worked in stop motion, but this shot doesn’t look like it’s a stop motion (or Go Motion) shot. This is why I love practical effects. Look at that. No snow, no background, just a gray sky, a Wampa head and a low angle. Perfect. Pretty sure that's Tippet's red beard and thinning hair next to the Wampa.
And any Star Wars fan will look at this picture and immediately place this exact shot… right before poor Luke gets a claw to the face (a story point included after his bad car accident, fyi).
Here’s the pic! Enjoy!
If you have a pic you think should be included email me. I’m looking for the iconic, the rare or the just plain cool behind the scenes shots to feature here.
Tomorrow’s Behind the Scenes Pic will make your day, promise.
