As of yesterday evening, it seems that... Oh yeah... HARRY HERE... It seems that the Wachowski's have nothing yet to do with the upcoming BATMAN franchises. Sigh... Well, I know this is a bit of 'non-news' but I figured that since the rumor mill has already been cranking out the rumor that they will be directing the next one... I'd head it off at the pass before it gets out of control. Do note, however, that I would sleep much better at night thinking they were in charge. Sigh...
On the Matrix Online chat just now, the Wachowski brothers reveal they have indeed been approached to direct the future Batman installments, but have decided to forgo it for now because they're too busy planning the Matrix sequels. If they do decide to direct Batman, provided nothing else coincides, of course, it would be most cool.
