Hey folks, Harry here with a report from the 8th Doctor, who brought in this scoop from SFX Website and it sounds like Paul "SOLDIER" Anderson won't be making any Dr Who movie anytime soon... if ever. Personally I can't weep too much... As many of you know, I'm a real big loather of the work Paul Anderson's made so far. Some may like MORTAL KOMBAT or EVENT HORIZON... but not me. Doesn't make me right, just means that's my opinion. I guess this means his bastardization of the DEATH RACE mythology will be his primary project.... ugh.... Well... here's the 8th Doctor...
Dear Harry,
Long time reader, big Who fan and Internet geek The Eighth Doctor here. I found this on the SFX website and thought you might find this interesting...

"So near, and yet so far... Exclusive Who news
We called up Jeremy Bolt, following disturbing rumours that the Doctor Who film had fallen through, and this is what he told us:
"Artisan Entertainment and ourselves have parted company with the BBC. They decided not to go with it - what can you do? I worked for five, no, six months on this, brought the BBC the most exciting film company in the world, the people who have the internet success - which is where the fans are - and the BBC decided not to go with it. To say I am happy would not be the case. It'll take the BBC God knows how long to sort something else out... I really don't want to talk about it any more."
He was careful with his words, but it was clear that Bolt was very disappointed with the BBC. It also makes us wonder - what of plan B, a new Who series?"

What makes this interesting was that BBC Films put a new series of Doctor Who (called "Doctor Who 2000") being developed by BBC Drama (and it's about time too!) on hold for the Paul Anderson/Jeremy Bolt Film... So, could the Doctor be about to step out ot the TARDIS on the small screen instead? Here's hoping...
The Eighth Doctor...
