I couldn’t help but connect yesterday’s Back to the Future with today’s The Time Machine. It’s my segue ADD acting up again.
Rod Taylor and George Pal’s The Time Machine is a great piece of science fiction and still superior to the updated Guy Pearce/Simon Wells version. I mean, one has Yvette Mimieux and one doesn’t. That settles that!
In today’s pic you’ll see Pal going over the script with an in-costume Rod Taylor. I know it's not quite as exciting as the mini-DeLorean from yesterday, but I jumped at the chance to feature George Pal, a great and mostly unsung hero of movies and television. Also, his Puppetoons are incredible if… shall we say... not entirely PC…
