Take a gander! What you are taking a look at is the incredible picture from Dreamworks' first animated film, PRINCE OF EGYPT. I've been dying to get a look at some images from this film. We've seen a couple of poster images, but this is the first look that I've seen of actual 'cel' work. The picture appeared in last Friday's USA TODAY. Thanks goes out to Silly Putty for grabbing the image for us! And they printed up the Character Name and the Actors playing them.
Now all the following characters are in the above picture going from left to right. So match em up.
Aaron--Jeff Goldblum
Miriam--Sandra Bullock
Tzipporah--Michelle Pfieffer
Moses--Val Kilmer
Ramses (the Pharoah)--Ralph Fiennes
Hotep and Huy (court magicians)--Steve Martin and Martin Short
Seti (Moses' Egyptian father)--Patrick Stewart
The Queen (Moses' Egyptian mother)--Helen Mirren
If you happen across any other images from PRINCE OF EGYPT let me know. I'm excited by what I see so far, and I'm eager as can be to see more. Lovely design, it really is. I mean look at the way the Queen's dress has light coming through, beautiful. Wonderful little detail bit.
