Report from the set of THE LEGEND OF BAGGARD VANCE

Hey folks, Harry here with an update from the new Robert Redford directed project, The Legen of Baggard Vance... Seems that ol Matt Damon is doing his job well here... and if memory serves this also has Will Smith... Anyway... here ya go...

Greetings form the set of "The Legend of Baggard Vance", the new Robert Redford film starring Matt Damon and Will Smith set here in good ol' Savannah, Georgia (1928 Savannah, GA that is.) It's amazing what they've done here! At one part of town near the City Square, they've transformed it into..well, 1928 savannah! It's VERY cool seeing the 20s cars all parked. Robert Redford seemed to be in a good mood earlier with his bright Hawaiian shirt on. Tonight, outside the Town Hall, a ton of star- struck people of all ages were waiting outside the set waiting for Damon or Redford to come out. The wait was VERY fun, as I was able to talk to a quite hilarious old lady who's been involved in every film that's been filmed in Savannah for the past few years (she got me a copy of a stolen call sheet, and she showed us some light bulbs she got from Robert Redford's Trailer), take a picture of Rob's pet dog Max wearing my 'Savannah College of Art and Design' hat, (when Rob's 'lady friend' Billie(sp?) walked out of the trailer, a friend of mine yelled out her name, she looked at him and waved. It was pretty funny ;). Eventually, Damon's car pulled up, and about 20 minutes later, filming wrapped (they kept on stopping traffic to get rid of background noise while they were filming) and Damon walked out. He was VERY friendly. His people kept trying to rush him away, but he told them to wait a minute, and even signed some autographs. HE seemed VERY friendly. (I had thought of calling out 'Snootchie Bootchies' so see if I got a reaction in light of 'Dogma', but when the moment came, I totally forgot.)Not much later, Rob rushed out and went into his trailer, and soon came out and entered his car (with florida plates - he was driving himself). He didn't sign anything, kept saying 'sorry', but did stand there for a minute or so while people took pictures. And then it was over for the night. VERY cool stuff. I'll attempt to visit other shootings, and, if wanted, give further updates.

Love the site, and keep up the good work, Harry!
