Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes pic!
Comic-Con is in full swing. A big part of the con today is the massive Tron Legacy panel, so I figured as a little appetite whetter I’d feature Tron in the BTS pic o’ the day.
I LOVE this pic. Love love love it. Look at how plain the suits and discs are as David Warner and Bruce Boxleitner fuck around in costume. Before the animated suit-lighting there was only plain white suits with black tape on it.
When I visited the set of Tron Legacy last year the props man brought out one of those original discs. I never looked very closely and seen them out of context of the movie, but you get a good glimpse at them in the pic below… The discs really are just white Frisbees with black gaffer’s tape on them.
