Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes pic!
Next to Star Wars and Jaws the Indiana Jones movies awed me as a child. Hell, they still do. Time hasn’t been kind to the most recent installment (I recently rewatched it on Blu-Ray after a triple feature of Raiders through Crusade and I highly recommend never doing that… it underlined every failing of the fourth movie moreso than seeing it cold), but that hasn’t tainted my adoration of the series as a whole.
So, I felt like highlighting Dr. Jones in all his glory. I have quite a few BTS pics of the series, but you gotta start with the idol, right?

I’m assuming that remote control operates the Idol’s stand, so after Indy incorrectly guestimates the weight of his sandbag that device held by Mr. Spielberg begins the sinking of the stone.
