I am – Hercules!! Nikki Finke at Deadline says Mark Ruffalo (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “The Brothers Bloom,” “Zodiac,” “Shutter Island”) is negotiating with Marvel to follow Bill Bixby, Eric Bana and Edward Norton in the exploding shoes of Dr. Bruce Banner. I was just watching Ruffalo in “You Can Count On Me,” an A-plus film IFC happened to be running again last night. Man, this guy is great. I’m dying to see him in “Margaret,” his 10-years-later reteam with “Count On Me” writer-director Kenneth Lonergan. To anticipate the question, Ruffalo’s not previously been associated with “Avengers” writer-director Joss Whedon.
