Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes pic!
I never said all of these behind the scenes pictures would be from feature films. Today’s comes from TV that I’m wagering knocks the majority of you upside the head with a closed fist filled with nostalgia. And possibly a little sadness.
Sesame Street and The Muppets were a huge cornerstone of my childhood. Jim Henson was almost like an unofficial father to me growing up. His work instantly sends me back to a simpler time.
So any smile I get from this great behind the scenes image of Jim Henson and Frank Oz doing their thing is bittersweet, tinged with a pang of regret that we lost him way too soon. But let’s not get too misty-eyed. It’s an amazing pic of a brilliant mind at work. Thanks for sending it over, David.
