Hey folks, Sorry if it has seemed a bit insane here on the site... lack of posts and stories. They have been coming in... it's just that I have been so deluged right now that I have had to cut back... just a bit this week, and most likely... the first 3 days of next week as well.

Quite frankly a ton.. Earlier this week it was the trip to Los Angeles coinciding with the telephone company's arbitrary decision to cut my home phone (though I had paid 3 days prior), thus cutting Father Geek off from updating. Meanwhile, I had every second spoken for out in L.A. And Have tons of stuff to write to you about...

I would, but right now I'm in the midst of Jedi Training to take on Ebert this week. Honing my skills... breathing exercises.... beating some beef ribs at the local cooler.... See, the thing that is kicking my ass is I'm taping two shows this coming Wednesday with Roger, the first is a show that will include BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, THE INSIDER, PRINCESS MONONOKE, MUSIC OF THE HEART and an undecided that is between two films I won't mention until it has been decided. Then... the second show... and the thing that is kicking my arse is a CULT VIDEO special show.

This is Roger and me... going toe to toe on the subject of Cult Video. I get 11 picks as does he. It's divided up into sections and classifications. I've chosen mine... But... I'll keep them a secret till the show airs. But... I promise you... I've done us proud (I think). This show doesn't have a specific airdate, but is a floating show that gets put in the can... to be aired on another date... to be announced.

Now, I'm documenting and writing my reviews for the first show (and for the site, though I won't post them till AFTER I've taped the episode with Roger.)

However, just so you know.... Beginning Thursday the 28th of October through Saturday the 30th of October, the Alamo Drafthouse will be hosting a Lucio Fulci Film Fest showing CAT IN THE BRAIN, ZOMBIE, GATES OF HELL and THE BEYOND.... along with Hundreds of Horror trailers, win prizes for being a Zombie (I'll be in zombie makeup all 3 days). However, I'll still be updating through that.

Then I get to be a full fledged Human Being again!!!!

Once in Chicago, Father Geek will be updating... in the meanwhile I'll try to get what I can when I can. Sorry for the seeming lack of effort... but I'm trying my best.
