Last Sunday’s episode was superb television, some of the best of the year. I’m VERY much looking forward to tonight’s season finale. A shout-out, before we go further, to Jonathan Banks, who menaced Axel Foley and shepherded Vinnie Terranova before he both menaced and shepherded last week on “Breaking Bad.” His work as Mike the ex-cop shines for me like nothing else in this third season, and his storytelling session with Walt last week was one spectacular, galvanizing piece of work. Last week Windy smiled at everybody she met, Flinn worked the pedals, Skyler argued over dinners, Mike extolled the advantages of a full measure, Gus arranged a sit-down, Hank gave Marie a minute, Fatboy Mohawk was avenged, and Jesse was advised to run. Tonight:
