I am – Hercules!! E! reports that “Sex and the City” studio New Line is talking about mounting a movie about the high school years of “Sex and the City’s” main character, Carrie Bradshaw. It would be based on “The Carrie Diaries,” the new Connecticut-set prequel novel by “Sex And The City” author Candace Bushnell. Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte do not appear in it. Though “Sex and the City,” which billed itself as a sitcom, never once made me laugh, I did used to watch it when it was about hot young city girls babbling enthusiastically about penises and orgasms. (I came to find it less interesting when someone told me it was secretly about some drag-queen pals of the executive producers.) What say you, AICN talkbackers?
