A Second 3 MEN AND A BABY Sequel On The Way - With The Original Actors??

Merrick here...
This got lost amidst the Captain America madness yesterday, but we thought it was still worth a quick mention. Seems there may be some tentative movement on a second sequel to 1987's Leonard Nimoy directed 3 MEN AND A BABY (which was followed in 1990 by 3 MEN AND A LITTLE LADY from DIRTY DANCING director Emile Ardolino). Tom Selleck, the man who was almost Indiana Jones, told MTV...
"It is true that Disney checked my availability," he said, confirmed Guttenberg's comments from late last year. "And I know they checked Ted's and Steve's, and then had a script written, I think tentatively called 'Three Men and a Bride,' which kind of says it all [about the story]." [EDIT] "I hope it's a good script, and if it is a good script I hope they do it, because it would be really fun to get back with Ted and Steve," he said. "The strongest of the two movies I think is the first one. It had more heart, and that's what I hope this third one would have if we do it."
...says Tom HERE. You can hear it for yourself...
Even thought it's been a while since these films were initially released, they're still enjoying their video afterlife. For example, a the first two pictures have been packaged together HERE. I always enjoyed Tom Selleck's work and felt he never got a completely fair shake. Altough MAGNUM was, clearly, a huge success for him - I always felt like he was destined to become more, but never quite found his way. On the whole, I could give a rat's ass about a 3 MEN sequel...but I wouldn't mind seeing Selleck on screens again. Danson too. And Guttenberg? Well, you know...
