THR has an update re: the status of various Warner Bros projects, including a release date for the SHERLOCK HOLMES sequel.

The Dec. 16 release date next year for the "Sherlock" sequel was shown on a slide during a presentation here Thursday by Warner chairman and CEO Barry Meyer. His appearance was part of TW's investor day.

...says THR HERE. Other notable reveals: a FLASH adaptation is evidently close to getting a "go", and the Chris Nolan shepherded SUPERMAN film is being positioned for a Holiday 2012 release.
